Today the historical centre is more vibrant than ever as visitors from around the world pour into the city to visit its historical sights. However, Prague is much more than a collection of monuments, once out of the centre Czech life is centered around good food and beer. In recent years the city has taken on a more cosmopolitan flavour and with its introduction into Europe Prague became the gateway to the East.
